At Pareto Cart Guard, we stand behind our product. If you’re not completely satisfied with Cart Guard PRO, we offer a full refund within 30 days of starting your free trial.


Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund, you must meet all of the following conditions:

✅ Qualifies for Refund:

  • Timeline: Refund requested within 30 days of starting your free trial (not purchase date)
  • Usage: Less than 10% of your monthly API usage limit consumed
  • Purchase Type: First-time purchase of Cart Guard PRO
  • Communication: Request sent to [email protected] with your order ID and license key

❌ Does NOT Qualify for Refund:

  • Requests made after 30 days from trial start date
  • More than 10% API usage during trial period (indicates active production use)
  • Renewal purchases (only first-time purchases eligible)
  • Custom development or onboarding services (non-refundable)
  • Refunds requested due to lack of technical knowledge (we offer free onboarding and support)
  • Violations of our Terms of Service
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes filed (contact us first)

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email: Send your refund request to [email protected]
  2. Include:
    • Order ID (from purchase confirmation email)
    • License key (starts with cg_pro_...)
    • Site URL where plugin is installed
    • Brief reason for refund (helps us improve)
  3. Timeline: We will process your refund within 5-10 business days
  4. Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, or cryptocurrency)

Refund Processing Details

Processing Time:

  • Credit Card: 5-10 business days (appears on your statement)
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Cryptocurrency (BTCPay): 1-3 business days (returned to original wallet address)

What Happens After Refund:

  • Your license key will be deactivated immediately
  • API access will be revoked (plugin stops validating carts)
  • You will receive a refund confirmation email with transaction details
  • Your site reverts to FREE tier (3 active rules, 1,000 API calls/month)

Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds or prorated refunds for:
– Unused months on annual subscriptions
– Downgrading from PRO to FREE tier
– Subscription cancellations mid-billing cycle

If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.


Subscription Cancellations

To cancel your Cart Guard PRO subscription:

  1. Login: Visit http://www.paretoedge.com/my-account
  2. Manage Subscription: Click “Manage Subscription” next to your license
  3. Cancel: Click “Cancel Subscription” button
  4. Confirmation: You’ll receive a cancellation confirmation email

Note: Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. You must request a refund separately (within 30-day window).


Exceptions and Special Cases

Technical Issues:

If you experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using Cart Guard PRO (e.g., server downtime, critical bug), contact [email protected]. We will evaluate on a case-by-case basis and may extend the refund window.

Fraudulent Purchases:

Refunds for fraudulent or unauthorized purchases will be processed immediately upon verification. Contact [email protected] with proof of unauthorized transaction.

Force Majeure:

Refunds may be delayed or unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., payment processor outages, natural disasters, legal restrictions).
